If you’re looking to refresh your home for Spring, you’ll love these Spring cottage decor finds! There’s something especially lovely about decorating for spring. After the cozy layers of winter, spring invites us to lighten things up—bringing in softness, fresh greenery, natural textures, and those beautiful little details that make a house feel warm, welcoming, and well loved.

One of my favorite things about spring cottage style decor is that it doesn’t need to feel overly seasonal or themed. Instead, I love choosing pieces that feel timeless—decor that quietly welcomes spring while still blending beautifully into your home year-round. Think woven baskets, soft linen textiles, fresh greenery, vintage-inspired pottery, warm wood tones, and collected pieces that add charm and character.

How I Refresh My Home For Spring with Spring Cottage Decor Finds

I don’t completely redecorate my home each season—instead, I make a few simple swaps that make everything feel fresh, light, and ready for the new season. These little touches bring new life into our home without requiring a full makeover. Whether you’re looking for new Spring cottage decor finds or wanting to work with what you have, this is a great place to start!

Switch Out Pillow Covers:

One of the easiest ways to refresh a room is to start by changing pillow covers. I love bringing in florals, classic stripes, gentle greens, and warm neutrals that feel light and airy for spring.

Add Lightweight Throws:

Then I swap heavier winter blankets for lighter throws in linen, cotton, muslin, or soft woven textures. I’ll casually drape one over the arm of a sofa and tuck a few into a willow basket for that cozy, lived-in cottage feel.

Fill Vases with White Florals:

A few stems can make such a difference. White tulips, cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, or delicate wildflowers in ceramic crocks and vases instantly brighten a room and make it feel fresh for the season.

Bring in More Living Greenery:

Spring is my favorite time to fill the house with plants. I love keeping ivy, angel vine, creeping fig, and small topiaries throughout our home. Plants add softness, life, and that beautiful collected garden feel indoors. I purchase many of my plants on Etsy from Bella Vintage Home and have always been so pleased with the quality!

Add Little Seasonal Touches:

Add a few sweet details go a long way. Think of little ceramic bunnies, bird nests, moss accents, or faux eggs tucked into shelves, vignettes, and even nestled among houseplants. These add subtle spring charm without feeling overdone.

Refresh the Front Porch:

Nothing welcomes spring quite like a pretty front door. I love adding a fresh wreath or hanging flower basket, paired with a new porch rug and a few potted plants for instant curb appeal.

Repeat a Ribbon Throughout the Home:

Lastly, one of my favorite little decorating tricks is choosing one ribbon—maybe a soft velvet, delicate floral print, or classic stripe—and repeating it in small ways throughout the house. Tie it onto a wreath, around a bunny’s neck, on a lamp, or around a vase of flowers. It’s a subtle detail, but it beautifully ties seasonal decor together. You can shop my favorite ribbon here.

1. Bring in Natural Texture

Natural materials instantly make a room feel lived in and layered. In spring, I especially love incorporating woven baskets, rattan accents, seagrass trays, jute or sisal rugs, willow vases, and rustic wood elements. These pieces add warmth while keeping a room feeling light and relaxed.

A pretty vase filled with faux white floral stems, a woven tray styled on a coffee table, or a natural basket holding a few light weight throw blankets can make such a beautiful statement.

2. Add Soft Greenery & Florals

Nothing says spring quite like bringing the outdoors in. Faux stems, potted herbs, flowering branches, and simple floral arrangements can completely transform a space. Plants and florals (live or faux) breath life into your home. They add SO much to a room so don’t skip these!

For a cottage-inspired home, I love greenery that feels effortless—white hydrangeas, eucalyptus, lamb’s ear, fresh tulips, or delicate white blooms tucked into a vintage crock or ceramic vase. I also love keeping live plants in my home and a few of my favorites are Creeping Fig, Angel Vine, Variegated Ivy, and Myrtle Topiaries.

The goal is never perfection—just beauty that feels gathered and natural.

3. Layer in Cottage Charm

The sweetest spaces are often created through layers—small touches that make a home feel personal and inviting.

A scalloped lamp shade, a linen pillow, vintage brass candlesticks, framed landscape art, a sweet little ceramic rabbit, a small bird nest, or a stack of old books can all bring that collected cottage home decor feel.

Spring decorating doesn’t need to mean starting over—it’s often simply adding a few fresh pieces to what you already love.

4. Keep It Timeless

Trends come and go, but timeless decorating always feels beautiful.

When shopping for spring home decor, choose pieces that can transition effortlessly from season to season. Neutral colors, natural materials, classic patterns, and vintage-inspired details will always feel right at home. I consider all greens, blues, and creams as neutrals and they truly work all year long!

Decorating this way creates a home that feels layered slowly—collected, meaningful, and truly lived in.
