Come on over and tour my french cottage home and see how I’ve decorated for the Summer 2022 season. It’s full of inspiration and DIY decor!
Summer Home Tour 2022
Welcome back to my home! The Summer season has flown by, and I cannot believe that it’s basically fall! My kiddos have started a little Mother’s Day out program and they have been bringing home all the little viruses and bugs. So it’s taken me a little while to share my summer home tour.
We’ve lived in this home for just about a year now. I feel like we are settled in for the most part, but I am still working on cleaning out our garage and listing things for sale on Facebook marketplace.
I kept my decor clean and simple this summer and used a lot of blues and greens. The home felt cheerful and airy!

Summer Home Tour, Front Porch
Our front door got a fresh coat of paint and I sure do love how it turned out! I had been debating painting it since we moved in because it was accidentally stained black and then the builder tried to sand it back down and I just didn’t love the look of it.
For this color, I mixed two Jolie Paint colors, French Blue and Sage. I ended up coloring matching that to a can of paint from Sherwin Williams so I didn’t have to seal the door. You can read more about the process in this Front Porch Summer Refresh post.

I shared this in my post, Front Porch Summer Refresh, but I wanted to share this vinyl mat with you again! This is from Vmat and its a vinyl mat that you can easily wipe clean and vacuum. It is very thin so it lays flat. I love it at our entry, but it would also be so wonderful in a kitchen or to use under kids highchairs, or play time with sensory bins!

Summer Home Tour, Mudroom
I love decorating this little nook for the seasons. We keep the kids shoes in the pull out baskets, but we keep all of our coats in the hall closet.
This french tote basket is one of my very favorite home accent pieces. I love the size, style, and versatility of it. I plan to keep it here for a while and switch out the florals with the seasons. They hydrangea stems and the blue velvet ribbon are from Hobby Lobby. You can shop the floral blue block print pillow covers here.
Oh and if you need a good pair of gardening boots, I love these!
The brass wall hooks are from Magnolia!

Summer Home Tour, Entryway
My pendant lights in our entry are from Antique Farmhouse and I love them!
My adorable french country buffet lamps are from Kirklands but they have been discontinued but I did link some similar ones below! You can find the french country mirror at Hobby Lobby, and the vintage books are from Jaysworld Books!

Summer Home Tour, Ironstone
You probably know by now I love collecting and displaying white ironstone. I’ve recently added in a few new pieces with blue accents! This teapot is an oldie, but I pulled it out for Summer.
These serving bowls with the floral pattern are some I purchased from Joliette. Their shop specializes in antique and vintage pieces from France and Belgium. I love their online boutique and all of the one-of-a-kind pieces they find and sell.
Aren’t they just so so pretty?!
Summer Home Tour, Kitchen & Dining
I kept my kitchen decor very minimal because my island tends to collect all the clutter. ha!
I did hang one of my favorite prints from Country Lane Living up behind my range and then I kept a little summer vignette on the corner of the island. This is the link to the Hillside Landscape and Scenery Painting that is framed under the venthood.

For my dining table, I stacked a few vintage books and a plant in this antique dough bowl that I picked up out thrifting. You can shop my airy cottage chandelier here. I purchased the white or lighter option but it wasn’t quite the color I wanted, so I did end up putting some Jolie paint on it. 🙂
I recently repainted my china hutch in the color Eucalyptus by Jolie. The cozy cottage woven seagrass tray basket up on top of the hutch is a new find and part of Liz Marie’s line at QVC.
I’m happy to report that all of my topiaries are still alive and thriving. I did replant them in larger pots a few months back and once I did they really took off! I am so pleased that they are doing so well!
If you are looking to add some live topiaries to your home, you can shop them here. I purchased them on Etsy and they shipped USPS and arrived in excellent shape!
Shop The Dining Room
I found this real touch seeded eucalyptus wreath from Afloral and I loved it so much I ended up ordering another one! It’s such a great price and I love how life-like it looks! I kept one here on my blue shutters and then I hung one on my front door.
Summer Home Tour, Living Room
The set of four floral prints in the gold frames were purchased as digital downloads from Etsy. They are so pretty! The frames are from Hobby Lobby.
The coffee table is a thrift find that I refinished. I’ll be sharing a video tutorial on that soon!
The blue stripe pillow covers are from Target and the blue floral ones are from Amazon.
This big beautiful candle that is burning on the coffee table is one of the antique restocks from Antique Candle Co. If you have not tried their candles yet, you should! They are hands-down some of my very favorite candles!

Hi Lori! No, I am so sorry! My kids have been home with me all summer and I took the whole summer off to be with them. They just started back to school so I’m going to try and start posting several past projects!
I’d love to know your wall color!!
Hi Jen! Sure, wall color is SW Eider White!
