I’m sharing a few simple spring home refresh ideas with you today that will help you bring a little life back into your home!
I love the changing of the seasons, and Spring is no exception! It feels good to go through and declutter the house and then add in a few new elements to help refresh and brighten things back up.
I’ve rounded up several beautiful home decor accent items that are great for refreshing a space. You’ll notice lots of blues and greens because I think these colors speak to the beautiful weather and growth of the season. But before we change out decor, we need to clean and organize!
Declutter and Organize Your Home
First, go through each room and purge unused items. Make piles of items that you need to donate, discard, or move to another room in the home. If you don’t use an item or you no longer love it, then you should consider removing it from your home!
You can list unused items on places like Facebook Marketplace or Mercari for a little extra money. I love doing this, especially with old home decor items. I’ll take the money from selling those items, and put it towards new home decor to refresh a space.
The easiest way to keep a tidy home, is to have a place for EVERYTHING! Even the smallest things like batteries and hair ties need a specific place to live. That way everything can easily be picked up and put where it belongs.
Clean Your Home
Next, give your home a good cleaning! Vacuum, mop, and dust everything. Consider shampooing carpets and cleaning your windows. Having a freshly cleaned home, is an instant mood lifter!

Spring Home Refresh Ideas and Decor
Finally, add in a few touches of seasonal decor. Here are a few simple ways to refresh your home decor for Spring.
- Replace pillow covers
- Add in lightweight, throws
- Change out area rugs
- Add live and faux plants and florals
- Change out wall art
- Add candles with floral or fruity scents
- Change out wreaths
My favorite candles are from Antique Candle Company. Country Pear is probably my favorite scent, but Lemon Eucalyptus, Mango Citrus, and Clean Cotton smell amazing too and are great for Spring!
I’m really loving the blue and white this season. I actually purchased these Blue Grid Canisters and LOVE them! The pitcher and canister that matches them are both pretty too!
