Spring is right around the corner and this simple, dimensional bird nest artwork will be a great addition to your Spring decor! Add it to your Spring mantle, at your entryway, or tucked into a bookshelf! It turned out so cute and it was so simple to make! Let’s get started! You will need the following supplies to complete this project.

Step 1:

First, paint the frame if you’d like to change the color.

Step 2:

Glue your piece of scrapbook paper to the cardstock or chipboard using Mod Podge. Then smooth it out really well by pressing down with another sheet of paper.

Step 3:

Next form a bird nest with the American moss/excelsior and then hot glue the small bird nest down into it. (Side note…did you see the Speckled Egg Wreath DIY I made?! I used this same moss and it turned out so cute!)

Step 4:

Once that is dry, hot glue the “stacked” bird nests onto the scrapbook paper backing.

Step 5:

To finish it up, place it back into the frame to complete your bird nest art and craft.
